While our hope for all children is that they will be able to thrive on their own, some youngsters need extra help in reaching the potential that lies within them. That’s the purpose of HealthLink for Children.
What is HealthLink for Children?
As an outpatient center specializing in children’s rehabilitation, we empower children by giving them the specialized therapy and support they need to achieve their own measures of success—at their own pace, in their own time.
Rehabilitation offers a wide range of solutions for:
- Problems with strength and joint motion.
- Impaired mobility, balance and coordination.
- Limitations in self care.
- Thinking and sensory processing difficulties.
- Speech and communications problems.
- Swallowing disorders
How can HealthLink for Children help?
Our highly committed staff works as a team, combining a variety of key disciplines in the care of your child. We bring together specialists in physical and occupational therapies, speech/language pathology, and social services/case management. Our team extends to include physicians, school system professionals, equipment providers, state and local agencies, and community pediatric clinical specialists. Parents are also an integral part of the team and take part in their child’s rehabilitation every step of the way.
How do we get started?
A physician’s prescription is required to begin therapy at HealthLink for Children. If your physician has not yet provided a written prescription, call us and we may be able to help facilitate that process. HealthLink for Children accepts most major insurance and private payments. We masy also be able to assist you to identify other coverage options for your child.
