The Blood Alliance at Beaufort Memorial Hospital

Since opening its doors in November 2009, The Blood Alliance at Beaufort Memorial Hospital has offered donors a pleasant, inviting fixed site at which to give blood. The new donor center replaces the hospital’s donor room, which is now closed.

The Blood Alliance at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, 990 Ribaut Road, Beaufort, is directly across from the hospital’s main campus. Its days and hours of operation are designed to make blood donation easy and convenient.

Donor center hours are:

  • Tuesday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

In addition to the standard single-unit donation of whole blood, donation of two units of red blood cells via the center’s new Alyx machine is now possible for eligible donors.

Donation appointments are available, and walk-ins are always welcome.
